JOE KINGSTON

Since the mid 80s, Joe has performed in Honolulu as a soloist and in various combos.
He plays ukulele, guitar, upright bass, electric bass, and pedal bass.

Joe mostly works solo, playing ukulele and pedal bass to accompany his vocals. The ukulele/pedal bass/vocal set up is his favorite way to perform as two instruments are featured at the same time.
He also collaborates with other musicians on occasion.  Joe plays Hawaiian, classic rock,
contemporary, swing, jazz, and oldies.

Besides performing at hotels, bars, restaurants, weddings, conventions, and private functions,
Joe has also played the following:

In the 2018 Laveen Stage songwriting contest
(based in Arizona), Joe won in two categories:
Best Christmas song ("Red Eyed Reindeer"), &
Best Comedy song ("Break song").
